Antelope Park Rose Garden Renovation The Lincoln Rose Society, in partnership with the Lincoln Parks Foundation, launched the $350,000 campaign to renovate the Antelope Park Rose Garden on April 20, 2006. Sunken Gardens Renovation The purpose of this capital campaign was to renovate and enhance Lincoln's Sunken Gardens -- its first major renovation since being built in 1930. Fundraising started in 2003 with major construction finishing in 2005. However, there are many additions that would be welcomed to the Gardens. You have the opportunity to help. More Information....
One Flower Forever Honor or memorialize a friend or loved one or celebrate events such as birthdays, anniversaries, holidays or random acts of kindness. For a one-time $100 donation, one flower will be planted, annually, at Lincoln's Sunken Gardens -- forever. More Information.... Paving the Path Honor special friends or family members, celebrate graduations or weddings or commemorate holidays by purchasing an inscribed brick at Sunken Gardens. You can purchase a Standard Brick (5.5" x 8") for $250 or a Foundation Brick (8" x 11") for $750. More Information.... Veteran's Bricks of Remembrance A "Brick of Remembrance" is available to all Veterans, living or deceased, who received an Honorable or General discharge. You can purchase a brick for $100 to be engraved and have it placed on a wall next to the designated memorial. Each year, new bricks are dedicated at the June Celebration. More Information.... "Sticks for Kids" Program The "Sticks for Kids" Program introduces golf to youth from a variety of economic backgrounds during an intense 3-day program. Youth receive instruction on rules and etiquette, practice skills and participate in a competition. Your donation could increase the number of available scholarships, amount of equipment given out or provide further instruction. More Information....
Endowments
Sunken Gardens Endowment As a part of the "Polishing the Gem" capital campaign, an endowment account was created to fund future maintenance. Partially funded by campaign contributions, more funds are needed to insure that the integrity of the Gardens remains. More Information….
Beautiful Kids Endowment The Parks and Recreation Department's recreation program offers instructive and diverse physical education and outdoor education programs for thousands of Lincoln's kids. A gift to this endowment is welcomed in any amount and will be used only to improve the quality of recreation programs for our kids.
Beautiful Parks Endowment A gift to this endowment is welcomed in any amount and will be used solely to add quality to our parks system for the benefit of our generation, and especially for future generations.
Veteran's Memorial Garden Endowment This endowment has been established to provide a funding source for future improvements and maintenance of the Veteran's Memorial Garden in Antelope Park. Contributions are welcomed in any amount.
Antelope Park Playground Endowment Completed in 2001, the playground at Antelope Park is the envy of the region. Serving as a "place for all children to play together," the playground is designed to provide opportunities for children of all abilities to play and learn. This endowment account is for ongoing repair and replacement of playground components, keeping it safe and fun for generations to come. More Information....
